Dr. Tukundane Benson is Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Research, Innovation and Discovery and Chairperson of the Institutional Review Board at William V. S. Tubman University, Liberia, and previously served as Dean of the College of Business and Administration. He holds a PhD in Management Science (Business Management, Finance & Accounting) and brings over a decade of academic and administrative leadership experience in higher education, including prior senior roles as Academic Registrar and Deputy Director for Higher Degrees & Research at Kampala International University, Uganda. His research and publications span finance, entrepreneurship, human resource management, and organizational accountability, with recent work on financial resource management in international NGOs and business performance in East Africa. A Certified Master Trainer in Artificial Intelligence, he is actively engaged in advancing research capacity, curriculum development, and the integration of AI in academic teaching and administration.
Prof. Samuel Adeniyi Adekunle

Samuel Adeniyi Adekunle is an Associate Professor of Sustainable and digital construction at the College of Engineering and Technology, William V. S. Tubman University, Liberia. He also runs the Centre for Sustainable Engineering and Intelligent Systems Research (CSEISR). A centre focused on collaboration, mentorship, research and consultancy in the engineering space. He is a National Research Foundation (South Africa) Y2-rated researcher and Fellow of the Liberia Academy of Sciences. His research focus includes Building Information Modelling (BIM), project management, pedagogy, construction digitisation, and resilient and sustainable construction.
His doctoral work produced a BIM maturity model, later published as a book by Taylor & Francis. His research funding and collaborations include serving as Principal Investigator on the USD 500,000 Supercomputing for Global South Sustainability project, and as co-investigator/ research associate on projects funded by AUDA-NEPAD, the International Science Partnerships Fund, among others. He has collaborated with partners in South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the United States. At William V. S. Tubman University, he has been involved in developing institutional AI, ethics, and intellectual property policies, and he convenes research master classes for faculty, among other activities. He was named Overall Best Academic in research for the 2025/2026 academic session.
He teaches construction project management at the postgraduate level and organisational process improvement to industry executives. He has supervised several master's and doctoral research projects on digitalisation, energy management, organisational performance, and construction safety. A registered quantity surveyor and a qualified Project Management Professional, he brings more than a decade of academic and industry experience. He welcomes prospective students, collaborators and funders who want to turn research into impact.
